    硒代蛋氨酸(Se-Met)是一种硒的有机形态,与蛋氨酸类似。目前硒代蛋氨酸的生物学研究日趋成熟,可作为医药保健品中间体、饲料添加剂等来调控机体的自由基代谢、抗氧化功能、免疫功能、生殖功能、细胞凋亡和激素分泌[1-2]
    在蛋白质研究领域中,硒代蛋氨酸可在不影响蛋白质功能情况下完全替代蛋氨酸,且其衍生物晶体与天然蛋白晶体同晶,用于经典相位确定法——“同晶置换法”进行蛋白结构分析[3-4]。蛋白质研究中的硒代蛋氨酸标记还可在模型构建时助力确认蛋氨酸残基位点[5-6]
