多溴联苯醚（Polybrominated diphenyl ethers, PBDEs）是一类溴代芳香族化合物，根据溴原子在二苯醚骨架上的取代位置和取代数目的不同可分为10 个同系组，共209 种同系物。PBDEs因其阻燃效果好、与各种材料的相容性佳等特点在建材、塑料、橡胶、泡沫、纺织品和电子产品等领域作为阻燃剂广泛使用。

PBDEs具有典型持久性有机污染物（POPs）特征，化学性质稳定，进入环境中后很难降解，由于其较高的疏水性和辛醇-水分配系数，因此更容易吸附、沉降，分布在沉积物和悬浮颗粒物中，对生物体健康具有潜在危害。

2009年，四溴、五溴、六溴和七溴联苯醚被正式写入《斯德哥尔摩公约》。我国从20世纪80年代开始生产多溴联苯醚，2000年成为十溴联苯醚的主要生产商之一。目前中国对 PBDEs 的生产量和使用量仍然很大，PBDEs带来的环境风险可能会长久存在。
