POSITION: Sales Manager – European Region
LOCATION: Marbach, Germany

JOB DESCRIPTION

J&K Scientific is a world leader in the supply and manufacture of chemical products. We are seeking a Sales Manager to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies as we expand our sales operations in the European region. Responsibilities:
  1. Design and execute the J&K European business development plan to achieve regional targets for sales, profit and market share
  2. Demonstrate both strategic and tactical planning, efficient teamwork and delegation skills
  3. Exhibit results oriented effectiveness in plan execution and implementation
  4. Plan and implement focused sales and marketing activities to increase sales volume in specific targeted accounts
  5. Apply understanding of multi-channel selling to offer options for end-users, contractors and distributors
  6. Develop, maintain and nurture strong customer relationships through regular contact and mutual respect
  7. Provide continuous overview and analysis of local and regional market trends, competitive challenges and opportunities, economic indicators and key developments that could affect sales performance
QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Bachelor Degree in chemistry, life science, materials science or other relevant discipline

Experience:

More than 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, including progressive leadership responsibilities

  3. Highly motivated and creative self-starter with drive to achieve performance goals
  4. Proven commitment to nurturing long-term customer relationships
  5. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  6. Able to present information effectively both in writing and through oral presentations
  7. Computer literacy including familiarity with MS Word, Excel
  8. Strong foundation in chemistry, life and materials sciences
  9. Fluent in German and English (oral and written); French and/or Spanish language skills are also preferred
  10. Willingness to travel extensively?
  11. Driver’s license
